End of Term Wrap Up

Just as was done for term one here (http://www.deathofdestiny.com/tysune/2009/02/22/end-of-term-wrap-up/), here is a summary of my courses first the second term of Winter 2008/2009.

Update

Well, I haven't posted in a while... ...so here's just a general update for what's happening.

Studying: Day 7/16 (44%)

Heyhey,

So I just got back from my CPSC 111 exam... ...which was complete and utter doom. Unexpectedly, I might add. The practice final exam that was posted on Vista I was able to finish in 1 hour (rather than the 2.5 hours they alotted); nonetheless, I studied the whole day for CPSC 111 anyways. And still the exam was death. *sigh* At least one of the questions I didn't know what it wanted done. Another question I changed after double checking my addition, but apparently I mis-added it the second time. So that sucks. NEVER DOUBLE CHECK WORK ON FINAL EXAMS. That's a rule I really need to learn to follow. But oh well. 1 exam bombed, 4 more to go. Starting... ...tomorrow.

Thus I be off for bed. Still gotta finish Blood Meridian and a stack of short works that is actually way larger than I anticipated.

Until tomorrow,

Studying: Day 6/16 (38%)

Heyhey,

So today... ...I reviewed for CPSC 111. Although I can't tell if I'm ready for that course or not. I was totally freaking out right before Midterm #2 that I didn't know enough, but then I did alright on the midterm. I re-read the textbook and went over basically all the basics. Tomorrow morning I'm doing all the practice exams I can. Then tomorrow night is the final. I hope I'm ready for it :(

I didn't finish Blood Meridian today. That book is so bloody long. But I am liking it a bit more this time around. Nonetheless, extending periods of reading it make me fall asleep.

The last subject I studied for today was BIOL 121. Oh my God. So totally freaking out about that subject right now. I have 0 indication of how ready I am for the final exam. I basically finished reading the textbooks today. So basically all there is left to do is re-go over lecture notes and then collaborate with people about potential problems. I'm thinking of pushing my two CHEM 123 study blocks on Friday and Saturday onto the bus or squish them into Sunday because I really need to figure out BIOL 121. ARG! BIOL 121 WILL BE MY DOOM!

Anyhow, it's midterm. I have resorted to staying up late (largely due to excess time spent on Blood Meridian. Seriously, why is that book so bloody long). Although, I think I will do this until May at least--it's fricking cold in the morning, so I don't get out of bed until later. So... ...to keep my "daylight hours" up, I'm gonna stay up late. Although, probably not this late. lol.

Until tomorrow (Or maybe the day after. I might not be home from my CPSC 111 exam until ~11:30 PM, so I don't know if I'll be in a ranting mood then...),

Exhausted

Wow. This weekend was busy. No day off this time (and no futsal either :( ).

I started on my CPSC 111 Assignment (last one of the year :) ) on Friday night, but it gave me a headache eventually so I stopped.

All day Saturday, I worked on my ENGL 110 essay. The hard part was the brain storming. Nonetheless, I managed to spend almost 14 hours straight on that bloody essay. And then I just spent another 4 hours on it now. So the draft is done. Woo.

This morning, though, I cleaned the kitchen and vacuumed a bit of the house. And then in the afternoon, Sarah R, Kaitlyn R, and Navin S came over and we finished our CHEM 123 lab prep for our lab this week together. Navin brought his model kit which is way better than mine, so I have to go shopping (because mine didn't work at all -.-;; ). So we finished that.

And arg at MATH 103 and again at ENGL 110. I wanted to get some extra homework done this weekend for them, but they haven't posted the assignments yet so I couldn't (nonetheless, I probably wouldn't have had time for it anyways).

*sigh* I have a feeling this week is going to suck. But hopefully, I get stuff done earlier next week so I can get ahead on my readings for final exams. XD

Anywho, I be off. Need to catch up on some sleep (stupid ENGL 110 essay threw me off...).

Woo :)

So, yesterday was a happy day--we only lost our futsal game by 3 points :) The final score was 6-3 for the other team, but Erik T, Raoul W, and I scored goals yesterday (my first goal in a soccer game ever :D).
