1 More Week In Hell

This upcoming week is my most dreaded week of this term (unless my exam schedule really sucks)... ...3 midterms and 2 assignments (and luckily, my lab got canceled)...

Normally, it wouldn't be too bad, but one of the midterms and one of the assignments are from PHYS 108, which is one course that truly points out my stupidity. I hate how stupid that course makes me feel.

My other midterms are in BIOL 201 and CPSC 221, and the other assignment is in ASIC 200.

My ASIC 200 assignment is pretty much a discussion of a lab we did last night about sustainable choices and their impacts; I'll probably end up blogging an extended version of my write up when I write it.

I'm not sure whether or not to freak out about CPSC 221. Computer Science at UBC appears to be the new math for me, so in that respect I should be fine. But the test could potentially throw disgusting induction, recursion, and C++ pointers/references at us. So in that respect, it could be a total disaster.

But the midterms for PHYS 108 and BIOL 201 are what I'm really freaking out about. Sure, it doesn't feel like I've learned anything in any of my courses so far this term, but in these courses I actually can't follow what's happening in lecture at all. I blame my lack of breaks (the supposedly optimal time to study--right before and right after lecture); thus I am really looking forward to next year's adventure with a reduced course load and plethora of study time spent on residence. If life had a reset button, I would definitely click it now and start this term over, but it looks like that will have to wait until September...

Anyhow, I'm off to bed. The rest of my week is going to be cramming like crazy for these courses. I cannot let myself fail these midterms...
