Wordpress: Scheduling Posts
This is just a tip that you may/may not want to use in your blogging...
Update
Heyhey all,
The reason I haven't posted in the past week is because I've been trying another new time management system (I like trying these things out :P). This one involves making a to-do list each day, and then working every day except for one day which is set aside for all play and no work. Thus, Sunday is my all play and no work day. The only reason I'm posting this now is because I'm done my to-do list for today and I'm caught up on my to-do list tasks for the week.
But anyhow, that's why I haven't posted this week.

Back To School Gathering
Last night, Emilie L, Emily H, Tyler M, Emily M, Tessa B, Steven B, Krystal V, Scott M, and Kelsey H came over as a back to school gathering. We mostly talked and played DDR the whole time (although some people watched When Harry Met Sally). It was fun. Unfortunately, Amy K couldn't make it; it was too bad because her and Krystal go to school pretty far away, so I don't get to see them very often.
End of Term Wrap Up
I'm going to copy the idea of summarizing last term (as first started by Sam's Blog, to the best of my knowledge). I know it's late, but better late then never, yes? :P
10 Questions
If you were only ever allowed to ask a person 10 different questions, what 10 questions would you ask them?
Nexus
The Nexus Facebook Application was returned to my attention after reading Andre Malan's "My essential Facebook Applications". The connections on my graph have started to spread now that I'm at UBC XD
Downtime
The site hit some downtime sometime early this morning. As of 8:26 AM, the site is back up.
Sorry if you tried to access the site during the downtime >.<;;

I Am Silent On March 5

Sometime just before midnight on Thursday, March 5, 2009, I will be (once again) taking a Vow of Silence for 24 hours with Free the Children to give a voice to children around the world who have been silenced by poverty.
UBC: The Answers
This is just a compilation of some of the questions I'm getting from prospective UBC students. Since a lot of them are based on personal opinion, feel free to add yours if you feel differently. And if you're a prospective student and have other questions, feel free to leave a comment and I'll try to answer it.
Is Facebook Unbreakable?
As stated by Wikipedia, "Facebook, formerly The Facebook, is a free-access social networking website that is operated and privately owned by Facebook, Inc.".
I won't go into describing it with much detail (I'm assuming most people that are reading this know what Facebook is), but Facebook cannot be described without the adjectives popular and addicting. That being said, this is my problem...
The Truth About The Canada Line
The Canada Line, which is opening this Fall (Fall 2009), is a 19 km long rapid transit line connecting Waterfront Station (Sea Bus) and Brighouse Station (Richmond Centre), thus replacing the 98 B-Line. One trip from tip to tip is expected to take 24 minutes (and it also by passes rush hour :) ).
The stops for this rapid transit line are located at:
- Brighouse
- Lansdowne
- Aberdeen
- Capstan Way (delayed opening)
- Bridgeport
- YVR - Airport
- Sea Island Centre
- Templeton
- Marine Drive
- 57th Avenue (delayed opening)
- Langara - 49th Avenue
- Oakridge - 41st Avenue
- 33rd Avenue (delayed opening)
- King Edward
- Broadway
- Olympic Village
- Yaletown
- Vancouver City Centre
- Waterfront
Note: Just so that it doesn't seem like I'm pulling this information out of nowhere, Emily H and I attended a TransLink open house at the Fraser Valley Regional Library (Ladner Pioneer Library) today.
